Terms of service

The standard migration model and the responsibilities that come with moving hosting accounts.

Using this website

This public website provides information about TransferMyHost. Creating an account, purchasing credit and authorising a migration take place in the app. Review the applicable service terms and the quote shown there before confirming a migration.

Standard migration pricing

Homepage calculators and product previews are illustrations. They do not reserve credit, create an invoice or authorise billing. The app calculates the quote for the selected accounts.

Authority to migrate

Only submit hosting accounts that you own or are authorised to administer and migrate. You are responsible for having permission to access both the source and destination, and for supplying appropriate access details.

Preparing a migration

Keep an independent backup before moving an account. Confirm the destination has suitable capacity and configuration. Check websites, email, DNS and applications after transfer, and plan any DNS changes with your hosting provider. Account verification does not replace a review of your application’s behaviour.

Supported platforms

Initial support focuses on cPanel to cPanel shared and reseller hosting migrations. Roadmap items are future plans, not currently supported migration types or promised delivery dates. Compatibility and the ability to transfer an account depend on source access and destination requirements.

WHMCS and retail pricing

A hosting provider may offer migrations free, charge a fixed fee or set a per-account retail price through its WHMCS integration. That customer price is separate from the provider’s TransferMyHost cost. Providers are responsible for their customer pricing and communications.

Questions before you start
